Delaney Cosley is a self-taught artist with a lifelong passion for creative expression. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Delaney discovered his artistic talent at the age of nine, sketching portraits and animals with an innate sense of detail and form.

In 1981, he relocated to Houston, Texas, where his love for art expanded into comic book illustrations, earning him recognition in a local Houston news outlet during Black History Month. His work caught the attention of legendary boxer George Foreman, who commissioned Delaney to design artwork for a community children’s center in Houston, a project managed by Foreman’s nephew.

Now based in Colorado Springs, Delaney continues to evolve as an artist, exploring various mediums, including abstract compositions, oil paintings, acrylics, and pencil sketches. His portfolio spans diverse styles, from intricate portraits to dynamic acrylic pours, each piece reflecting his unique vision and dedication to the craft.
